2012 Clinician & Speakers Teresa Quay, Clinician Teresa has accumlated many accolades including IPRA Rookie of the Year in 1999 (in her first year of professional rodeo), 8 time IFR Qualifier (99-06), 2010 IFR 1st Go winner 2001, Central States Finals Qualifier 2004-2008 & 2010, Central States CBR Champion 2004, 2006 & 2007 & 2010, Central States Rodeo Average Champion 2007, IPRA Central Region Champion 2005 & 2006, World's Toughest Bulls & Broncs Champion 2006, WPRA Great Lakes Divisional Tour Champion 2005, Women's National Finals Rodeo Qualifier 2005, IPRA Central Region Qualifier 2002-2010, Mid States Rodeo Finals Qualifier 2009 & 2011. She finished in the top 15 in the world standings for IPRA 2010. Teresa won the SEBRA Championship and the CSRA Championship in 2010 and was Reserve Champion in the MSRA. She also won the CBR Championship at Buckin' Ohio 2010. Congress Barrel Sweepstake finalist 1996 (third overall in final placings), multiple open rodeo championship wins and numerous wins in Open Barrel Racing. Currently she is sitting first in the SEBRA Barrel Racing standings and third in the Midstates Rodeo Cowgirl Barrel Racing standings for 2011. For more information visit www.cantwister.com Ben Hupp & Keith Green: Farriers Ben Hupp is from the Dover, Ohio area. Keith Green resides in Wakeman, Ohio. Ben and Keith are both American Farriers Association, Certified Journeyman Farriers (AFA, CJF). They compete individually and as a team, at AFA and International Horseshoeing Competitions. These competitions challenge them in the art of horseshoeing, not only with the skill and technique, but also the knowledge required to hand-make shoes of varying degrees and difficulties to suit the many needs of individual horses. Ben and Keith also have experience with shoeing the orthopedic horse, varying lameness’s and injuries. They also work closely with veterinarians on specific cases, trainers, and owners to encourage a sound and comfortable lifestyle for the horse. From shoeing the World Famous Lipizzaner, to offering Gaited Show Packages, and shoeing English Performance, and Dressage, Ben Hupp & Keith Green will discuss “Common Lameness of the Equine Hoof”. Barbara Musolf, DVM: Associate Professor of Veterinary Technology at Cuyahoga Community College, speaking on Equine Preventative Medicine. Dr. Musolf is an Associate Professor of Veterinary Technology at Cuyahoga Community College and a 1981 graduate of THE Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Musolf has been with Cuyahoga Community College full time since 1988. Her current teaching responsibilities include Companion Animal and Equine Preventive Medicine, Parasitology and Large Animal Clinical Techniques. When not busy at the College, Dr. Musolf has worked for Dr. Scott Shell at Thistledown and Northfield Park Racetracks, substituted for State and Paddock Veterinarians at the Racetracks and filled in as a relief veterinarian in small animal practice. She is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, The Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and The American Veterinary Medical Association and has served on numerous committees for those organizations. Dr. Musolf and her husband have five horses and are the owners of a 90 acre farm in Chatham Ohio.
